The Research Experience for Undergraduates NSF grant provides for each student:
- A stipend of $5,000 for the ten weeks (June 15- August 21, 2015),
- Room and board provided by the University of Oregon
- Travel expenses to and from Eugene.
The Oregon REU program offers a wide variety of exciting research projects for students interested in chemistry, physics, environmental chemistry, optics and materials science. Students work closely with faculty advisors, graduate students and other research undergraduates for a unique summer experience.
