Job Description
Description: A full-time or part-time internship opportunity to receive continuous hands-on training and experience while in school or as a recent graduate (within one semester of AS or BS graduation). Selected participants will have the opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom at world renowned facilities located in Oak Ridge, TN. This program is limited to individuals attending colleges and universities in close proximity to Oak Ridge, TN.
Discipline(s): physical sciences; engineering; Current opportunities in mechanical engineering, electronics, and geographic information systems.
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens and Legal Permanent Residents. Undergraduate students, post-associates, post-baccalaureates. Freshman applicants welcome. Must be attending a regionally-accredited college or university.
Location(s): Tennessee. Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Duration: Full-time or part-time appointments of up to one year, renewable up to two additional years.
Frequency: continuing
Awards made: varies based on availability

Benefits: Stipend based on academic level or degree; benefits of full-time or part-time temporary employees of Oak Ridge Associated Universities. Depending on the availability of funding, participants may be eligible for 100% undergraduate tuition reimbursement.
