Job Description

Technical Department

The intern in this position will work under the technical department and report directly to the technical manager. The responsibilities will include general wet chemistry lab work including operation of an AA, cleaning glassware, colorimetric testing and sample prep/organization. Research projects will also be assigned. The internship will include some limited field work/shadowing in the metro Detroit Area. Field work will include onsite testing, sampling, problem solving, and education. Internship programs are designed for STUDENTS ONLY.

Normal hours will fall within:
 

Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm, 10-15 hrs per week
REQUIRED Application Qualifications:

1. Junior or Senior Status

2. Chemistry, Environmental, or Relevant Scientific Major

Desired Application Qualifications:

1. Excellent time-management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

2. Proficient in Microsoft Office

3. Experience with basic lab safety and operations
